COMPANY HISTORY
For over two decades, California Professional Management (CPM) has worked to provide dedicated construction management services to our clients throughout California. At CPM, we continue to be the most trusted team in construction management, providing the same quality work, outstanding service, and hands-on approach to new and returning clients.

Our team brings extensive experience to every project. As construction management veterans, we understand the ins and outs of the industry, know how to navigate them, and have close working relationships with architects, suppliers, DSA, and all State Agencies. With a deep knowledge of our business and craft, we’re able to protect our clients’ interests, provide honest and accurate guidance, and deliver exceptional finished projects “on-time and on-budget”.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
For over twenty years, we have helped California create state, local, and community facilities that contribute to safety, recreation, education, and civic life across the state. We value making such contributions to our cities and neighborhoods and pride ourselves on this work.
Supporting the local community in regions where we work is very important to the CPM family. We help with fundraisers like The Cody Waters Foundation Off-Road Ride to Survive, and encourage our contractors and partners to participate in events and build relationships.

MIKE WOODS
President, Principal
Mike joined CPM in 2004 and brought to our construction management team over 23 years of experience in the construction industry, with particular emphasis in concrete and masonry construction.
While at CPM, he has expanded his knowledge with design teams and leadership experience in the supervision of recent projects and has proven himself to be a valued member and leader within the CPM Crew. Mike possesses great attention to detail and prides himself on understanding all aspects of your project.
Mike has worked at the following Southern California universities and college campuses: Victor Valley Community College Science Building – Central power station and observatory; UCLA – 5 story underground parking structure and nuclear science testing building in Westwood; USC – The Cromwell field and locker stadium renovations; Redlands University – New restroom and maintenance facility; Claremont College – New 9 story dorm facility and new gymnasium and dance facility; Cal Poly Pomona – Student Union Building; Mount SAC – Vocational welding, vocational air conditioning and science buildings; Cal State San Bernardino – Maintenance and auto shop buildings.

DARYL VAN DRAN
TREASURER, Principal
Daryl became a part of the CPM team in 2005 and brought with him 40+ years of construction experience. While at CPM, he has worked with multiple architects on projects in the educational, civic, and private sectors.
Daryl has assisted clients with everything from the initial design meetings to final project occupancy. His responsibilities include performing constructability reviews, developing scope, document review, bidding, construction administration, and project close out.
His project depth is far and wide, including involvement with the Bellagio, Monte Carlo, and Rio Suites casinos in Las Vegas, Getty museums in Brentwood and Malibu, as well as projects at Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Seaworld. He also provided project management assistance for the Los Angeles Coliseum Earthquake repairs, Dodger Stadium Club Level addition, and Los Angeles Twin Towers Jail.
CPM knows that Daryl will prove to be an asset to any client or project in which he is involved.

JEFFREY MILLER
Vice President, Principal
Jeff has been associated with CPM since 2001. He contributes over 40 years of construction experience to the firm and has expert facility with all aspects of project management—from initial planning through project completion and final close out. His highlighted educational project experience includes: Heritage High School for the Perris Union High School District ($85 million project) and Sitting Bull Elementary/Middle School Campus for the Apple Valley Unified School District ($36 million project).
Recently, Jeff provided on-site project construction management to the City of Turlock during the construction of the city’s new $30 million Public Safety Facility.
Jeff’s expertise and scope of work includes: preliminary project planning / budgeting, constructability review, bid /contract document development and scoping, construction phasing, trade coordination, and document control.
In addition, Jeff is proficient in project estimating, change order analysis /containment, and is familiar with current delivery methodologies including: LLB, CM Multi-Prime and DBB.
